#Eckogram - Seventeenth is Minion-Themed

Good Day, Peeps! Time again for another  photo diary entry. I feel I just cannot let the gap between entries go far too long, so I followed up on the last one a bit faster.

While browsing my Instagram uploads for the past few weeks, I noticed that most of them involves "Minions." Yes, those little yellow henchmen that has been the "in" thing lately because of the release of their movie. In light of this, I decided that I will playfully call this Eckogram entry a "Minion-themed" one.

So, let us get started with this Minion-themed entry, shall we?

Eckogram Entry 17:

1. Mini like a Minion - When I happen to pass by a Gift Gate shop, a Gashapon machine caught my eye because it features Takara Tomy A.R.T.S. miniature camera keychains. I decided to buy one and got this little Olympus camera miniature. It was detailed and features interchangeable lenses to boot. However, what I really liked about it is it can be mounted to the hot shoe of my camera - Inception-like. Now, I really want to have a Canon model miniature that can function like this one, really!

2. McDo Minions are back - Back in 2013, with the release of Despicable Me 2, McDonalds released Minions toys as part of their Happy Meal. We were not able to complete the set back then. Fast forward to today, with the Minions toys having a comeback and a preorder option to get them all, I wasted no time and ordered a whole set for my little kid and I did not regret it.

3. Eggsy - I have recently been on an "Egg Diet" lately - call it protein overload if you will. Let us just say that I am cutting back on the carbs now because I ain't getting any younger you know?!

4. Wide-Eyed like Bob - My daughter really loves elevator rides with those see-through elevators. Whenever she sees one, it is a shoo-in that we have to at least take one "round-trip" ride on that elevator or she will never stop pestering me about it. LoL!

5. Expectation vs Reality - Monde decided to ride with the craze that is the "Minions" by featuring DIY Minion designs with their Mamon products. Unfortunately, it was an "expectation vs reality" experience as the materials that they included for the DIY design is not of that good quality and despite summoning all my creative juices, I cannot produce any good-looking "Mamon Minions" from that DIY stuff. Bad Monde!

6. The Minions - We promised our little kiddo that we will watch the "Minions" movie at the cinema as soon as it was released and come the weekend of the first week of showing, we lined up and watched the "Reel Deal." All I can say is that, seeing my little Allie enjoyed and had a great time with the movie is more than enough to justify the admission price. For short, it was a Blast!

7. Minions Surprise Pack - Days after watching the "Minions" movie, my daughter was on a Minion high (as expected) and she was able to coax me into buying her a "Surprise Pack" which features...wait for it..."The Minions" of course! Now, I wonder...will she get her favorite minion from this blind/surprise pack?

8. Got Bob!!!! - Lo and Behold! Look at what my kid got on her Minions Surprise Pack? It was her favorite minion, the deuteragonist of the movie, Bob himself! Looking at the figure, it really looks like it is shouting "Pick Me!" and that was what really happened, she got picked by my daughter. I gotta say that that was a lucky pick indeed!

9. Tic-Tac Minions - The first time I saw the minions in the first Despicable Me movie, the first thing that came to my mind with regards to their design is that - They look like Tic-Tacs. Oh Yes, those little candies that look like capsules. Well, I guess the makers of Tic-Tac noticed that too and in-line with the Minions movie, they released this limited edition variant - Banana-flavored and yellow colored Tic-Tacs that pretty much look like Minions sans the eyes, goggles, and jumpers. Call that a case of "Life imitates art" eh?

And so, the first accidentally-themed Eckogram entry comes to a close. Whew! There was a lot of Minion-filled pictures right up there, I gotta say huh? I think after all of that, you and I need to detoxify with a Ba-Na-Na, eh? What do you think?

Anyway, As always, thanks for allotting precious time reading my post for today. As always, stay tuned for the next entry on this ongoing series.

Until next time,...Pa-Pa-Pap?!

...err, I mean..

Ciao!
