#Eckogram - Sweet Sixteenth (16th)

Hey Peeps, Photo Diary time is here again.

I have concentrated on some articles/posts the past few weeks that I almost forgot that the 16th entry for this ongoing series is already due. My Bad.

Anyway, 16th entry equals Sweet Sixteen right? Let us see if indeed this entry is a "sweet" one. Let us get on with it, shall we?

Eckogram Entry 16:

1.  Turtle with a Birthmark (?) -This is one of my daughter's activity in her recently concluded Summer Classes.  The objective was to stick the circle cut-outs to the turtle's back. However, I noticed that she put one of those cut-outs to the hindfoot of the turtle. I posted it on Instagram and said that I think the circle on the foot was a wound. One friend of mine cleverly suggested that it is a "Birthmark" and I could not agree more with that. LoL!

2. Moving Out and Up - After spending a lot of years in our cozy and comfortable place at the 4th floor, our company has decided to move out and up. Yep! We are moving out and transferring our office up to the 7th floor, of the same building. LoL! The 4th floor office will be missed for sure.

3. Special Awards - As my daughter's summer classes concluded, she received two awards on her recognition day: Best in Art and Public Speaker to be specific. Now, that "Public Speaker" award translates to me as the "most talkative" in the class, don't you think?

4. Photoshoot for a Cause - I was really proud that I participated in a recent "photoshoot for a cause program." The event aimed to raise an amount of school supplies to be donated to the needy students of a public school and I did not pass up on the chance to have some bonding time with fellow photographers and cosplayers while at the same time being able to help out. There is no better feeling than doing something in the name of charity work.

5. High Key - I do not always do "High Key Photography", but when I do....

6. UK Feel - The missus bought me a tickler recently and I cannot help but be amused by the "London" feel of it. Actually, the only thing missing in its design is a "TARDIS", LoL!

7. Not looking a day older than 20 - My wife recently celebrated her birthday and to be honest, despite gaining another year, she still looks like a girl in her twenties. Way to go, my love!

8. Ponyo - Inspired by the amount of cosplaying kids I have seen in some events that I recently attended, me and my wife decided that we will have our daughter try out "cosplay" too and see if she can be effective at it. As one of her favorite characters is Hayao Miyazaki's Ponyo, we made her cosplay that one and she debuted on day 2 on one of the biggest events of the year - The 14th edition of ToyCon Philippines. To see how she fared, click here.

9. Seifuku Cutie - Here is my daughter looking good on her first day in Nursery. I gotta say that she looks cute on her Seifuku-inspired uniform. Kawaii!!

Okay, that sums it all up for today. Ain't that sweet? Anyway, Thanks for dedicating precious time reading my post for today. As always, stay tuned for the next entry on this ongoing series.

Until next time

Ciao!
