The McDonald's BFF Fries - "A Kaiju lands in the Downtown"

Tag Team match? Anyone?!

If you are fan of the 2013 film Pacific Rim, then you are familiar with and know what a "Kaiju" means, right?

Okay, for the benefit of those unfamiliar, the Japanese term "Kaiju" means a strange creature in Japanese, but when translated and defined in English, it has a more Badass significance..."MONSTER", a BIG and GIGANTIC Monster, to be exact.

A few days back, a certain kind of "Kaiju" has landed on Philippine Shores, particularly in McDonald's outlets - The BFF Fries!

Imagine this - Take two orders of Large McDonalds French Fries and fuse them together. What you get is this "monstrosity" - An uber-sized container of golden, crispy fries ready to lay waste on whatever level of french fries-craving you have.

Before I proceed, here is a bit of trivia for you people: Before this Kaiju was code-named BFF Fries, it first hit the Land of the Rising Sun earlier last year and was given the name "Mega Potato" (You see, just like a true Kaiju, it is not content on stomping on one country, it moves on to another close to the proximity, LoL!).

McDonalds is offering this BIG-sized French Fries with the "Sharing among Family and Friends" in mind, and I guess with these Larger than large size of fries, sharing will not be a problem. (Unless you are one bad, gullible mate, very BAD!)

Now, our family likes to gobble up on French Fries, especially the McDonalds variant, so a couple of days ago, we took on the challenge of taking on these Kaiju-variant of fries with our "Jaeger-sized appetite."

Since we only want to size up the "BFF Fries", we only ordered the Fries and Float Combo. It comes with One BFF Fries and Three McDonalds Coke Float every order. We ordered two of those since there is only six of us, but for those who want a bigger meal, there is the BFF Burger Bundle where customers can choose from seven McDonald's burgers to come with their BFF Fries plus a regular Coke for each one and then, there is the BFF Chicken Bundle for the Chicken and Spaghetti lovers where they can choose between One-piece Chicken McDo and McSpaghetti or Two-piece Chicken McDo with rice, of course complimented with BFF Fries and regular Coke.

Now, what is the verdict on our order? We totally destroyed the BFF Fries over the same length of time that we waited for the order to arrive (30 minutes), so much for the Kaiju eh? No match sa Craving namin for Fries, tsk tsk tsk!

We may have issued a swift knockout on the BFF fries, but it is good to note that those 30 minutes was well spent on eating the fries and sharing stories. Aside from taking the snaps, we had the whole time sitting in the dining table and having fun while sharing the BFF fries and sipping on the float over some nice stories. I can say that is one victory for the BFF fries as indeed, we had "shared" a lot with the company of it.

I highly recommend that you try this Kaiju-sized Fries with the appropriate bundle that fits your craving...It definitely gives you a Kaiju-sized BANG for your buck!
