Just a few months after her first stint as a flower girl, our daughter seems to be on a roll as she was asked to be a part of another wedding entourage - as a flower girl - again. Now, none could be happier with that news than us, her parents, of course.
This being her second time, it is obvious that Allison now has more confidence in the way she carries herself in her gown and is also noticeably more comfortable and bubbly since she already knows the role of a flower girl. Fact is, she even is not a 100% on the day of the wedding as she is having an episode of some mild eye infection (you can notice it if you look at her eyes), but knowing our girl, she just shook that off.
It will not be complete without the Allie "Goofball Mode" moment |
Also, this time around, our little girl was not the smallest and youngest of the flower girls, so we can say that she sort of "Leveled Up" as she found herself being the big sister to the other flower girls that are younger than her.
Not the Smallest One Anymore, now huh? |
Too bad, the organizers made the little boys and little girls walk in pairs so Allison did not have her solo walk moment. *sigh*
In addition to all the things we made sure we did on her first time, here is an additional pointer that we have learned from our daughter's second time as a flower girl:
* Load up on snacks to last the length of the ceremony - Now, wedding ceremonies vary in length and a common problem with those varying lengths is kids sometimes tend to get hungry while the ceremony is still ongoing. Solution? Have some snacks ready so that if ever your kid ask for food, you can just let them choose anything from what you have packed and save yourself the hassle of having a child throwing a tantrum and ruining the ceremony.
You have been a good girl, Now, have an Oreo! |
I am looking forward for a third time, my dear Allison.
Until next time,
Ciao!
