#Eckogram - Seventh Heaven

Good Day peeps, It is the first week of the last month of the year, December. The Christmas rush is to be expected in the next few weeks, but before that, let us first have another entry to my photo diary series. Without further ado, here it is.

Eckogram Entry 07:

1. Have a Cracker? - There are a lot of snacks out there, but I prefer a pack of SkyFlakes than a bag of chips 8 out of 10 times. I guess if I will have a list for my "Zombie Apocalypse" stash, a lot of SkyFlakes will be the one high up on that.

2. I want the Pie in the Sky - Saw this receipt while I was withdrawing from an ATM machine. When I saw that total balance, I just can't help but take a snap of it. *Sigh* How I wish I have that same BIG balance on my account. Dang, I wanna be Rich!

3. New for NEO - Before I had "Wan-Wan" (my Rebel T3/1100D), there is one camera that showed me the ropes of moving from point and shoot to DSLR cameras. That camera is my little sister's EOS 1000D or as she calls it - NEO. Lately, NEO had its eyecup broken and since I owe my sister and her camera a lot, I exerted a lot of effort to find NEO an OEM eyecup. Luckily, I found one before my sister's vacation to Hong Kong. I am sure they both had a blast there. I cannot wait for the pictures, little sis.

4. That Big Tube - Before the popularity of LCD/LED flat screen TVs, we had this Titan-like 41-inch tube TV in the living room and it has been the Alpha television set in the house for a lot of years. Unfortunately, since the flat screen TVs are more practical, we acquired some and replaced some of our tube TVs with that and the 41-incher has rarely been used. On the bright side, when it comes to Association Football games, the 41-incher is our choice (the players are larger when viewed on the Big Tube) and with the PHL Azkals barging into the semifinals of the Suzuki Cup, I guess our Big 41-inch TV will see a lot of playing time too.

5. "Sugod Mga Kapatid!" - If you are a Filipino, there is no reason for you not to celebrate the day of our de facto National Hero. Sadly, a lot of our countrymen nowadays become more concerned of a holiday that is not celebrated by Filipinos and then forget the legit holiday which is Bonifacio Day. Shame on those folks. Thanksgiving did not fight for your freedom, guys, but Andres Bonifacio sure as hell did!

6.  Kids Section - Since my daughter - Allison - has been a very active kid as of late (She makes the whole house her playground, tsk tsk tsk!), my mom did a makeover of one of the section of our living room and transformed it to Allie's personal play section. Surprisingly, it worked and now, she will restrict her pagkakalat to this section. Hah! I definitely agree, Mother knows Best!

7.  The Angel is the Star - We really set up our Christmas Tree a little bit late, but Hey! Better late than never. One thing different in our Christmas Tree is that instead of a star, we opted to put an Angel on top. Now, one of my close friends saw this picture in Instagram and said that he was also inspired to put an angel on top of their Christmas Tree...Angel Locsin that is! Good Luck on accomplishing that, buddy!

8. Small, Simple, and Beautiful - Here is our Christmas Tree with the lights on. Not so enormous and not so flamboyant, but beautiful nonetheless.

9. Kids nowadays - With the advent of technology, kids now are really different from kids before. Take my daughter for example, when she wakes up the first thing she looks for is one of those gadgets she uses to watch/stream videos online. I know you cannot take those things away from her, but I guess as parents, it is our responsibility to strike a balance when it comes to that issue.

And again, another Eckogram entry has come to an end. Thanks for dropping by and reading on.

Until next time,

Ciao!

As always, Eckogram-related posts will simultaneously be published in my Phlog HEREIt will be greatly appreciated if you can check it out too.
