#Eckogram - Cloud Nine

Okay, it has been a really long while since the eight entry on the "Eckogram Diary" Series (About a shade over one month, IMO). Again, I apologize for that. The Holidays proved to be a little bit busy than what my two hands and one brain can handle and thus, a lot of archived drafts had been collecting cobwebs for the past week or two.

To make up for lost time, let us start to get things rolling with the Ninth entry of this series. Here it goes.

Author's note: I just want to point out that due to the delay, some of the pictures in this and the succeeding entries will be a mixture of pictures from the past month or two, still they are worth your time, nonetheless. Thank you.

Eckogram Entry 09:

1. Battousai turned Wanderer - The Live Action Movie interpretation of one of the best Anime/Manga series of my generation - Rurouni Kenshin - has been one for the books so far. You have to admire how the Japanese made a "close to the real thing" translation of the beloved story with simple cinematography, choreographed fight/swordfight scenes, and the right choice of actors (and without use of any overblown CGI). One thing to note to is that, bootleg copies of the movie were as hard to find as a real "Sakabato." (We had to wait for the DVD to be released to get ourselves a legit copy.)

2. Twirl-All-You-Can? Cmon! - FamilyMart convenience stores are not rampant as compared to 7-Eleven or Mini Stop outlets, but if there is one close to your vicinity, I suggest that you pay it a visit. Why? Well, for one, who does not want a "Twirl All You Can" Ice cream cone? Who??? I bet you will agree, that is something that is really hard to pass up, doesn't it?

3. Middle Earth Initiation - Since my daughter is already a "Three-nager", I think it is already time to let her watch a movie in a big screen - in a Cinema. The original plan for her first cinema movie will be Big Hero 6, but when that plan fell through, we decided that we will let Bilbo, Thorin and Company, and even Smaug handle her first experience of the Big Screen by way of  "The Battle of the Five Armies."

4. Wide-eyed Little Moviegoer - We have doubts about our little Princess' reaction to her first time at the Cinema. We are even prepared if we have to go out and not finish the movie if circumstances presented it, but Lo and Behold, she is glued (wide-eyed) and so engrossed with the movie (matching popcorn in hand) that she eventually finished it. With the exception of some times when she gets bored with long conversation scenes, her first cinema experience was a complete success.

5. Chow Mein, Man! - Every once in a while, a big serving of Instant Noodles is what I need to get through a grueling Graveyard Shift, especially if it is a Spicy variant.

6. Ponyo will Approve - Whenever Christmas Time is around the corner, there is always an abundance of Christmas Ham. I got one as a gift from my Employer. Very Nice indeed! Just like Ponyo said.."I want HAAAAM!"

7. Arrival at Night - A snap at the Airport while waiting for someone - who will spend the holidays with us - to arrive. It is the most wonderful time of the year, I agree.

8. Lego Kid - Allison has shown a lot of interest in building blocks lately, especially Lego. For the record, I am also a Lego enthusiast back when I was a kid, so I guess it is a no-brainer why my daughter exhibits the same kind of interest too.

9. Sir Chief In D Haus! - My father being an OFW, gets one month out of a year to spend vacation with us. He chose to spend it with us during the holidays. Now, ain't that cool? Welcome home, Sir Chief!

Okay folks, now that concludes a somewhat delayed Eckogram Photo Diary entry. Again, my apologies for having a very long delay to follow up on this series, but as they say, "Better Late Than Never" right?  Thanks for dropping by and again, watch out for the next post on this series.

Until next time,

Ciao!

As always, Eckogram-related posts will simultaneously be published in my Phlog HEREIt will be greatly appreciated if you can check it out too.
