Snaps and Thoughts 366 - My 2016 Photo Project (46/366)

Hey, Peeps! It is time again for another entry to this ongoing photo project of mine. Well, I still have the hangover from the day of love that was "Valentine's Day" so for this entry, the theme of Love will still continue.

This time I chose a picture connected of a very familiar thing that you will see on the day of hearts. I am talking about no other than the "classic" - Roses - three of them!

"Three Stem Roses - Classic"

Love is a very special feeling and a testament to that is it has its special day, so there is no reason not to feature it in this ongoing Photo 366...twice!

Until next time then,

Ciao!

Snaps and Thoughts 366 - My 2016 Photo Project (45/366)

Hey, Peeps! It is a Lovely Day today, don't you think?  Today does not really not need too much of an introduction since it is an important day that all can agree on. Of course, you know what I am saying, it is the day of Love - Valentine's Day!

Since it is the day of Love and as they say - Love is in the Air - for this entry, I chose a picture connected to this day. As you know, I am a music lover and whenever it is Valentine's Day, there is only one song that is first off the gates of my playlist for this day - Rivermaya's classic love song:

"214"

Now, I just want all to remember that Love is much more than a single holiday and basically Valentine's Day can be every day of the year if you want to. However, there is no reason not to celebrate on this day, so for all of us, let us all have a very good Valentine's Day today.

Until next time then,

Ciao!

For Me, Valentine's Day is Every Day

"Love is so much more than a single holiday"

First of all, I want to greet each and every one a Happy Valentine's Day. Let us all celebrate a good one.

Okay, Valentine's Day it is, a special and hallmark holiday that is celebrated once in a year where people give gifts and cards (Flowers too, if you are a guy) to their loved ones to show their love. Now, that is a good thing. However, it seems like each year, it becomes more about what you buy and give as a gift rather than how you celebrate.

I see the rush the day (or days) before Valentine's Day and it seems like there is a Fire sale on Flowers, the sudden need to buy stuff toys, the rush to get chocolates, and the race to reserve on places to take loved ones for a date. I then cannot really help but think "Seriously? People tend to only do this on Valentine's Day?"
